What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is a treasure hunt game. People hide specially marked boxes in publicly-accessible places and then publish exact GPS coordinates. Others use their GPS units to look for the caches.

Most caches contain a log book for finders to record their discovery. It’s common to have a supply of small trinkets for finders to exchange.

While Jen and I don’t do geocaching anymore, we still think it’s a pretty cool hobby.
